You've been through so much
And you've sacrificed a bunch.
You've told me some things
That no one could dream
Could happen to us.
But, you've restored our trust
I've learned from you
And I know, now, what to do.
You've been hurt
And felt extreme pain
You provided for us all
by doing odd jobs.
When things were low
Your head was high
"I'll never let go,"
Is what you said with a sigh.
"Because we can make it
until the end of time."
This poem is true
'Cause it's about you.
Thanks for telling me things
And for being my mom
'Cause when everything looks blue
I stop and think what you've been through --
And remember that I love you.
